Who are we?

Plates55.com is an experiment that was started in the Fall of 2009.  The goal is to deliver Microsoft, Apple & Cisco Content to the technical user community.   It is designed to produce up to the minute data.
Plates55 was started in 2009 by J Plates and S Wood , IT professionals from Indiana, starting with just a simple HTML page, plates55.com is growing into a fully featured interactive web community. Today plates55.com runs on Windows Server 2008 platform, with Internet Information Server 7, ASP.NET 3.5 Beta, and SQL Server 2007 – all 100% 64-bit.

The Plates55 Team

* J Plates,  Founder,  Lead Developer.  J Plates has worked as an Systems Manager, and Systems Analyst withvarious organizations including Boeing, Intel, and 3Com and has over 12 years of experience. He has received a Masters in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology, New Jersey and Bachelors in Engineering from University of Missouri.

*  S Wood,  Co-Founder,  Editor.   With over 20 years experience in Information technology, Swood has worked as systems manager, project manager, lead engineer, technical Infrastructure manager, Data communications manager.  He holds a BS in computer Science an MS in CICS,  as well as an MCSE, CCNA, CCDP as well as other industry certifications.

*  M Sutherman. Forum Moderator, and poster.  Born in Chennia India, M Sutherman moved to the United States for both his education as well as technical  experience.  He has worked for Microsoft, Intel and Hewlet Packard.   Currently he is working as lead developer for a small start up computer company based out of Mumbai India.
